The Adorned Wrasse is a beautiful, easy-care wrasse that likes various types of food (frozen food, flakes, live food). Also planarians and other parasites in the marine water tank are eaten by the fish. In order to keep the wrasse, that grows 13 - 14 cm long, the tank size should be at least 500 litres and sufficiently fine substrate like sand should be present because the fish buries there for sleeping. The peaceful animal is best kept single or as pair. Caution is advised with Tridacna clams because the Adorned Wrasse may nibble on them.
